These terms and conditions apply to all participants at Site Council events.
MONEY-BACK SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: The Site Council strives for 100% attendee satisfaction. Nevertheless, if you attend an event as a delegate and are dissatisfied with the experience, we will refund your registration fee, provided you provide a clear explanation of the reason for your dissatisfaction. At the Site Council’s sole discretion, this term may not apply to force majeure incidents.
CONTENT OF EVENT: The event program and speakers may change or be canceled without notice. Views expressed by speakers are not necessarily the views of the Site Council nor the speakers’ respective organizations. The Site Council accepts no liability for any such content, changes, cancellations or views. Session, lunch, etc., capacities are limited, so we may not be able to accommodate late arrivals.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CONTACT HOURS: Site Council events do not offer continuing education credits.
ELECTRONIC RECORDINGS & MATERIALS: By participating in the event, you acknowledge that the Site Council may take photographs and make electronic recordings of the event; and you agree that your image and voice may be included in such recordings and used by the Site Council for educational, promotional and commercial purposes. In addition, speakers grant the Site Council the right to use slides and other speaker materials at future events and for other purposes. Audio/video recording or photography of any presentation or presentation materials requires the Site Council‘s or the speaker’s advance permission.
INFORMATION DISCLOSURE: The Site Council may disclose to certain event sponsors attendee job titles and employers, but not names, telephone numbers, or email addresses. The Site Council does not sell or rent attendee lists.
NON-SOLICITATION: Event participants other than event sponsors may not distribute marketing or employment materials or otherwise promote commercial products or services other than investigative site or CRO services at the event, or host outside events in conjunction with the event. Violators will be asked to leave the event and may be prohibited from participating in future Site Council events.
DISCOUNTS: Applicable discounts must be taken at the time of registration. Only one discount code can be used for a registration. Other restrictions apply.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, TRANSFERS AND SUBSTITUTIONS: Cancellations, refunds, transfers and substitutions are subject to approval by the Site Council. Send requests by email to support@sitecouncil.org with a full explanation. You may cancel your event registration prior to the event. If notice is received by the Site Council at least 30 calendar days prior to the event, upon your request, the Site Council will refund the amount paid -- less a $100 administrative fee -- within 30 days. If notice is received prior to the event but fewer than 30 days prior to the event, you will receive a credit for a future event. If you believe you overpaid your registration fee, you must request a refund prior to the event. Attending without registration or sharing a badge is not permitted. Registration payment received after an event is subject to a $100 late fee.
TRANSFERS AND SUBSTITUTIONS: You may transfer your registration, at no charge, to any other Site Council event held within 13 months after the date of this event. Or, you may transfer your registration to any other employee or member of your company or organization. Requests for transfers must be received by the Site Council by email at least three calendar days prior to the event. There is no charge for the first transfer or substitution, but a $100 administrative fee for any additional transfers. Other terms apply.
FAILURE TO ATTEND: If you do not attend the event and do not cancel or transfer your registration per the above terms, no refunds or transfers will be issued.
VENUE/DATE SUBJECT TO CHANGE: The Site Council reserves the right to reschedule the date and/or change the venue of the event, provided notice of such change is sent to you at least 30 calendar days prior to the original date of the event. If the Site Council changes the date and/or venue of any event less than 30 calendar days prior to the original date of the event, the Site Council may reduce registration fees and/or issue refunds based on the circumstances, at its sole discretion. If the Site Council cancels an event for any reason other than force majeure, a complete refund will be made of your registration fee for the event. In the case of force majeure, or if you otherwise agree, the Site Council will transfer your registration to a future event within 13 months. Under no circumstances does the Site Council assume any liability for any travel, lodging or other costs related to the event, whether or not you have paid or committed to pay such costs in anticipation of the event.
NO LIABILITY: Event pricing may change without notice. You are solely responsible for your costs associated with participating in the event including, but not limited to, the costs of lodging, meals and travel to and from the event; and shipping and safekeeping of any personal or business property sent to and from, or used in conjunction with your participation in the event. The Site Council encourages you to obtain insurance to protect against the loss, damage or theft of any personal or business property. The Site Council and the event venue may be able to provide guidance on ingredients in foods and beverages but consume them at your own risk. The Site Council disclaims any responsibility for any harm, injury or loss resulting from your use or consumption of any food, beverage or other product at or around the event, including but not limited to those provided by any event venue or the Site Council itself.
CODE OF CONDUCT: Inappropriate conduct related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion or national origin; inappropriate clothing; possession of an illicit substance or weapon; destruction, theft or vandalization of property; intoxication, smoking, vaping or disruptive behavior; offensive or insulting words or actions; unauthorized promotional activity; failure to obey any rules or regulations of the event or venue; or any other illegal act or unprofessional or offensive behavior is not permitted and may, at the Site Council‘s sole discretion, be grounds for expulsion from the event without refund of fees paid.
VIRTUAL EVENTS: Some terms and conditions that make sense for in-person, physical events do not apply to virtual events or remote attendance. Event participants are responsible for ensuring that their hardware, software and Internet technologies are functioning properly for the event. Support may not be available during the event. In a virtual event or activity, you may not (a) allow persons not registered for the event to participate in the event, e.g., by sharing your login name and password or your computer screen, (b) post inappropriate content in an online presentation or discussion, or (c) engage in any other action that interferes with the proper functioning of the event for all registered participants.
NO RIGHT OF ADMISSION: The Site Council reserves the right to refuse admission to its events or cancel admission to its events at its sole discretion.
These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
